Watermist Fire Suppression System – The design, installation, operating & maintenance documentation, and spares for a watermist fire suppression system on HMAS Success, Manoora & Kanimbla.

Rigid Hulled Inflatable Boat (RHIB) – Engineering Assessment and operation & maintenance documentation for a water jet-powered high speed craft.

HMAS SUCCESS Jacket Water Heaters – This project involved the detailed design of a jacket water heating system for the main engines on the ship.

Satellite Communications– SOFRACO designs and installs pedestals to support satellite communication equipment on off shore platforms

Air Conditioning Assessment – SOFRACO recently undertook an engineering assessment of the air conditioning system on HMAS SUCCESS. This included on-board testing of the performance of the current system and a re-assessment of the heat loading on board for the current configuration of the ship, including recommendations for new chiller units.

HMAS SUCCESS Bridge Wing Extensions – An engineering assessment was undertaken to investigate the structural modifications (and equipment relocation required) to extent the bridge of the ship to allow for the installation of mini-typhoon guns on new gun direction platform.

Switchboards on HMAS MANOORA- SOFRACO designed, procured and installed new switchboards on this LPA class vessel for the Royal Australian Navy

Fuel Tank Support Frame – A temporary support frame was used to transport unleaded fuel onboard a RAN ship. SOFRACO verified the structural design of the unit to ensure it would be suitable for use in security operations during the recent Commonwealth Games in Melbourne.

Modification of Ship Accommodation – SOFRACO modified the mess space on an Australian Frigate to accommodate 2 male and 3 female staff, which originally held 15 male staff. This included the design of the new layout, addition of a second wet space in the area and the selection and specification of all furniture and fittings.
